Goalscorers were Momchil Tsvetanov, Dinis Almeida, Georgi Minchev, Dimitar Iliev, Christian Ilic and Nikolay Nikolaev.
A minute of silence in memory of Nikola Spasov, Dimitar Largov and Diego Maradona was held before first whistle.
It took Lokomotiv no more than 60 seconds to open its account. Momchil Tsvetanov received a good set up in the penalty area by Birsent Karagaren and scored one of the earliest goals in the derby for all times. Eight minutes later Dinis Amleida headed the ball in Botev's net for the second time after a foul pass by Umarbaev. Georgi Minchev was then fouled in the penalty box and referee Georgi Kabakov ruled out an 11-meter shot for Lokomotiv. It was Dimitar Iliev (c) who made it 3:0 (22'). Minchev himself had his own opportunity to make the result bigger in the 27th minute and didn't miss to do it - he netted in goal number 4 with a solid kick after elegantly passing by Rabotov (Botev). In the last minute of the first half Johnatan Perreira (Botev) received a second yellow card and was sent off.
Lokomotiv's game didn't change during the second forty-five minutes. Christian Ilic saw no struggle to make it 5:0 for the black-and-whites. The sixth goal for Lokomotiv came in the 77th minute via Nikolay Nikolaev who had a good assist on the left by Georgi Minchev. PFC Lokomotiv 6:0 PFC Botev
