Farewell to Nikola Spasov

Nikola Spasov (head coach to PFC Montana) passed away early this morning after a three-week long sickness with coronavirus. He was hospitalized, but despite the medical care he lost the battle with the COVID-19.

As a professional player he wore the jerseys of Lokomotiv Sofia, Dunav, Cherno more, Levski, Spartan Varna, Farense, Salgueiros, Paços de Ferreira Beira Mar and Rio Ave.

As a coach he also worked in-and-out of Bulgaria. He managed the teams of Verin (Spain), Immortal (Portugal), Bregalnitsa (Republic of Northern Macedonia), Kyzylzhar (Kazahstan). Cherno more, Svetkavitsa, Spartak Varna, Kaliakra and Tsarsko selo.
